The Steps of Student Research (TDK)
1. TOPIC SELECTION
Browse through the list of TDK research topics and select the one you would like to join. You can search the list by keywords, by departments, or by the name of supervisors.
2. RESEARCH WORK
Contact your supervisor and, in consultation with them, start working on the chosen research project.
3. REGISTRATION
If you decide to continue your work in the chosen topic in the longer term, register on the official TDK website. By doing so, you will officially become a TDK member. Conducting TDK research can be an advantage in applications, scholarships, and PhD admission. As a member, you can also participate in general assemblies and vote on issues concerning the operation of the Students’ Research Society.
4. PARTICIPATION IN CONFERENCES
Students can present their work at the annual in-house TDK Conference, usually held in spring. The best-performing students will be entitled to participate in the National Undergraduate Research Conference, which is organized every two years.
5. TDK AS A SUBJECT
If you are already a registered TDK member, you may enroll in the Student Project Research courses, through which you can earn credit points.
6. DEMONSTRATOR SCHOLARSHIP
If you also take part in the teaching activities of a given institute or department, you may apply for a demonstrator scholarship.
